We also had a chat with Shay Wasson and Savannah Wilt form Via Baci Modern Italian Bistro in for their votes. Of course Breckenridge Brewery‘s Todd Thibault weighed in as well.

Saturday December 6th at Lone Tree Brewing’s 3rd Anniversary Party
Lone Tree Brewing Company was so kind to invite us out for their 3rd Anniversary Party as they released some very big news. Stacy Turk sat in for co hosting duties today! John Winter and Jason Wiedmaier joined us to talk about some really massive growth plans. We are very excited to see them gain an additional 3,600 square feet, a fully automatic Cask canning line, a new 20 barrel brewhouse and a fourth can which will be Hoptree Double IPA. The canning line is in, the brewhouse is on the way, and the Hoptree cans should be ready to roll by summer. All this allowing Lone Tree to triple their production. This is really great news. They also say they are toying with some sour beers that can be kept away from their brew system in their new space behind the taproom. Cheers for a big 2015 coming up for Lone Tree Brewing Company! Guests included owners John and Jason Winter, brewers Josh West and Jerry Siote. We also talked to Tap Room Manager Amber Davis-Sato and Sales Manager Bridgette Geiger.
We broadcasted live from the patio at Lone Tree Brewing Company. Laura Vande Zande from Renegade Brewing Company! Todd Thibault from Breckenridge Brewery also sat in for most of the show! We talked to John Winter, Amber Davis-Sato and Bridgette Geiger from Lone Tree about the new summer beers on tap and ones to be released. We talked about the growing pains of a brewery once you distribute yourself and add cans to the mix. We hit events they are involved with coming up and a whole lot more. We also had on Sean Dugan from Elevation Beer Company to talk about what’s new coming out of their Poncha Springs brewery. We did Mobile Canning’s Brew News You Can Use and threw out what is going on up and down the front range in beer!
Nicol Winkler (AKA Thirsty German) and Turk hosted from our good friends and sponsors Lone Tree Brewing Company! It was the show’s 3rd Anniversary. We had a great crowd and really enjoyed talking about Lone Tree’s expansion, new canning line and new beers! You can now get their Helles and Peach pale in 6 pack cans! They are also adding two more 30 barrel fermenters for your drinking pleasure! We chatted with John Winter and Jason Wiedemaier in hour one about what they have been up to! Sales Guru Greg Kimmick and Tap Room Manager Amber Davis-Sato also jumped in with us! We also grabbed Tebo from Breckenridge Brewery who was spending the weekend with his pals Leftover Salmon.
In the second hour we led off with Kalani Neeland and Columbine Label Company‘s Bernadette Ortiz. Kalani’s artwork was chosen as the winner for our Third Anniversary Beer Label Contest. We brewed a single hopped Amarillo IPA at Strange Craft Beer Company and only bottled 99 of these! Bernadette and the gang at Columbine Label did the labels for us and awarded Kalani a 500 dollar gift certificate! We had some awesome entries and it was hard to choose just one! Here is her story on the label she created:

Colorado Craft Beer Show Brewcast: Saturday December 7th 2013 Lone Tree Brewing Company 2nd Anniversary Party
We had the honor of broadcasting at the home of some great friends this brisk Saturday! Lone Tree Brewing Company has long been a supporter of what we do at the beer show and we were stoked when they asked us to come down to do the show on their 2nd Birthday! Daniel Ekker from Argonaut Wine & Liquor co hosted with Turk as we talked to the gang behind LTBC! John, Jason, Bridgette, Greg, Amber and Josh came on with us and talked about two amazing years and about their future. If you have not been in to Lone Tree Brewing Company, we would love if you did at some point! They make beers to style but have fun as well as we had a Snickerdoodle and a Twix beer! Thanks and much love to the crew at Lone Tree Brewing!
Todd Thibault joined us from Breckenridge Brewery as he was just hanging out having a beer with Senator Mark Udall. Bernadette Ortiz from Columbine Label Company also jumped on as Lone Tree uses them to make their beer labels!
Very honored to announce that Lone Tree Brewing Company is our latest and greatest sponsor! We’ve known Jason, John, Bridgette, Josh and the whole crew there for a couple years and are super stoked to have them join the family!
Lone Tree Brewing Company is a European-style craft brewery and tasting room. Small and family friendly, with an emphasis on sampling small handcrafted batch brews and sharing the experience with fellow beer lovers. Opening Lone Tree Brewing Company means much more to partners John Winter and Jason Wiedmaier than just serving beer. To them, it is about creating a community atmosphere where people who share their excitement in the science, experimentation, and development of a hand craft beer feel right at home.
The crew at Lone Tree Brewing Company craft some awesome beers, where you will find anything from a Helles to a Russian Imperial Stout. They are also now bottling and distributing their Outta Range Pale Ale and Acres O’Green Irish Red.
Lone Tree Brewing Company is located at 8200 Park Meadows Dr. in Lone Tree! Right across from Furniture Row at Park Meadows!

We were very honored to be the only broadcast crew inside the halls of Great American Beer Festival! As the medal ceremony was wrapping up we had several guests on!
In Hour One we led off with a little scene set from the 31st annual GABF! We were then joined by General Manager at the Publican in Chicago Katie Syracopoulos. We also talked with Adam Trattler from Backcountry Brewery in Frisco. We then were joined by a very overworked Todd Thibault from Breckenridge Brewery. He gave us the lowdown on what it’s like to be involved in dozens of events and having to get beer practically everywhere during GABF week. We closed out the hour with John Winter from Lone Tree Brewing Company!
In Hour Two folks started pouring out of the awards ceremony. We announced some of those winners and Andrew Emerton from New Belgium Brewing jumped on. They won two medals! Brewers Association Craft Beer Program Director Julia Herz also joined us to talk about some of the medal winners and about 31 years of GABF! Strange Brewing Company co owner Tim Myers also joined us right after learning they had won a Bronze for their Dr. Strangelove Barleywine! Next up was Andy Brown and Marty Jones from the Wynkoop to talk about their Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout. Our next guests were Brad Lincoln and Gordon Schuck from Funkwerks who grabbed gold medals with their Belgian Style Strong and their Saison. But that was just the beginning, as they also received the Small Brewery of the Year Award! Upslope also won a silver medal in the American Style Brown category and head brewer Alex Violette joined us. We closed out the show with Ska President Dave Thibodeau who was a skunked as far as medals and was a little sour! We love him dearly though!
